Same goes for men, women and girls. Let's get some things out of the way, about teasing: teasing is common and often cherished behavior, between adults who are in love, let alone like each other. Boys, men, women and girls engage in teasing, with partners or prospective partners, and love it. And guess what?
Some people can't stand teasing. Good news! If you love someone and get to know them, you can usually discover whether they do or don't hate to be teased. Keep an eye out for the reliable indicators: flashing glares, bared teeth, sneering - even God forbid, saying something.
Men by nature are very aggressive on their aproche towards woman and in their way of thinking is, if hes teasing you making fun, they like you because they dont know how to express themselves in a more emotional way…
that's normal for men and woman shouldn't take it personally unless hes doing it with an intent to hurt you and woman can pick up on tones and cues that raise Red Flags…
but back to men, what majority of woman dont understand that if men didn't like them in anyway they would not bother with opening the lines of communication in anyway…
if hes talking to you he likes you, if hes playfully teasing he likes you, so stop sweating the small things enjoy his flirting and just flirt back ;)
But children, ah! Children. Children are socially maladroit in unpredictable ways. They're also precocious as hell in others, and the two can exist side-by-side in one child. It's one of the reasons why "Kids say the darndest things." It's one of the reasons why "Kids are cruel." Their capacities and perceptions mature at different rates.
Adults, of course, may tease people they're attracted to. It's a form of flirtation. They do it to show off their personality, and find out about the other's. Particularly if they enjoy teasing, they'd like to find out early if the other person can't stand it.
The other person meanwhile, may pretend to like it, because what could be better than ending up in a relationship with someone you know loves to tease? Important note: adult behavior doesn't necessarily make more sense.

Thank you …Kids, though, have all these weird pressures on them. Especially the pressure that comes from constantly being told by adults they said or did something wrong (often, by the adults all busting out laughing). It can be hard for them to branch out into unsupported, unfamiliar modes of expression.
Does it mean a guy likes you if he teases you a lot?
Depends on the teasing. There can be harmless, playful banter trying to get you to engage him in some form of conversation. That could mean he likes you and wants to hear from you.
Then there is the mean, hurtful teasing that isn't amusing and needs to stop. If things are said or done that crosses boundaries or genuinely hurts your feelings, you should stand up for yourself and remove yourself from the situation.
I am one of the first individuals. I engage to try and relieve awkward tension and get a few laughs. I never, ever make it personal, though. That's inexcusable. Good luck and hope you can differentiate the two.

He may feel an open admission of fondness will leave him vulnerable - to rejection, even ridicule. Or maybe teasing is just his strongest, most comfortable and confident move to put forward.

Hm. Actually, that wasn't very different at all, was it? Perhaps a little lighter on the italics - a sign of maturity! Overall though, some men do mature without much improvement in these areas. The worst of these become extremely cavalier about approaching a woman sexually, dick pics and ribald come-ons - about as emotionally mature as a kindergartener throwing a rock.
Some men do mature very differently. They come to have emotional confidence, and a direct, open approach.
An emotionally-confident adult male may still like to tease! But he doesn't hide behind it, and you can generally tell he likes you.
A lot of people love teasing, and tease lovingly, so if you're only barely acquainted, perhaps you can mention you don't, if you don't. If he reacts like you just clobbered him with a poleax, or bristles in hostility, you know all you need to know about him. Steer clear. Wimp alert.
What is the bottom line of it all?
If a human male is teasing you in such a way that you can't tell he likes you, assume one of two things:
1) he doesn't like you.
2) he has a lot of growing up to do. And maybe you're not the one who should have to train him.
